BizBash's 15th annual Most Innovative Meetings feature recognized the CollegeVine VINEYARD Summit, produced by Analog Events, as one of 12 standout gatherings that defined the future of business events in 2025.
Held at The Langham Chicago, the inaugural 200-guest summit reimagined what a higher education conference could feel like. Analog Events served as lead agency, overseeing event strategy, creative direction, production, and sustainability program design, treating both AI and environmental accountability not as themes layered onto the program, but as tools that guided operations from the ground up.
Every guest touchpoint, from check-in to meal ordering to personalized photo delivery, was managed through a custom SMS-based AI agent built in collaboration with CollegeVine's development team. No app required. Behind the scenes, the system integrated real-time data from registration, catering, and travel logistics to anticipate needs before guests even asked. On the front end, it was invisible by design.
On the sustainability side, the event achieved an 87% landfill diversion rate, proof that accountability and creativity aren't competing priorities.
"We designed every element, from guest communication to programming, to operate more like hospitality than academia," said Michael Mesbah, Head of Events at Analog Events. "We treated AI as an extension of hospitality, not a replacement for it."
